Program Overview
Undip’s Department of Industrial Engineering opens registration for new students for the Industrial Engineering and Management Master’s Study Program for the 2023/2024 academic year. This program was opened based on Establishment Decree 467/KPT/I/2016 and Operational Permit Decree 42/UN7.P/HK/2017.
With complete facilities and experienced teaching staff, graduates of the Masters in Industrial Engineering and Management are able to respond to current developments, have competence as entrepreneurs and professionals in their fields. Several collaborations with foreign universities are being initiated, including Tunghai University, Taiwan, and UTM, Malaysia. The form of collaboration carried out is a dual degree program.
A Glance at the Procurement Management Concentration
It is a concentration that produces experts and research staff in the field of procurement in the public and private sectors, based on the foundation of professional ethics and professional professionalism, able to master the theoretical and practical aspects of procurement, and having a high moral commitment and a new paradigm in implementing aspects of procurement goods and services on a local, regional and national scale.
In this case the procurement management concentration has the following objectives:
- Organizing educational programs in the field of procurement
- Produce the latest research for the development of science and practice in the field of procurement
- Produce procurement experts who are ethical and professional
- Fulfilling the need for procurement experts, who will be involved in several fields, for example: policy makers, managers and practitioners/executors of procurement in both the government and private sectors

Matriculation Courses
Matriculation courses are given to Masters students who have been accepted from non-Industrial Engineering Bachelor degrees and Industrial Engineering Bachelor degree graduates who have less competency scores. This group of courses are basic Industrial Engineering courses. The Equalization course covers ideas (economic, social, environmental) that are relevant to Industrial engineering: Quantitive Method (2), Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) (2), Human Factors & Ergonomics (2), and Cost Analysis & Estimation ( 2).

Study Programs
The Industrial Engineering and Management Master’s Study Program accepts new students from various majors. The majors that can apply are:
- All Engineering majors in the Faculty of Engineering (Industrial, Civil, Architectural, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, PWK, Environmental, Shipping, Aviation, Computers, Informatics, Mining, etc.)
- Department of Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science
- Department of Management & Economics, Development Studies
- Department of Agricultural Industrial Technology
- Department of Social Sciences
Selection Test
Selection/Test will be carried out in 2 stages:
- Undip Academic Potential Test (TPA)
- English Test
- The scientific competency test is in the form of a written test/interview according to the intended study program
(The study program test schedule may be different from the TPA and English test schedule)
Condition
- Bachelor degree graduate
- Minimum TOEFL 450
- Minimum GPA of 2.75 from an accredited college
File Completeness
- Curriculum vitae/work history
- Academic recommendations from 2 people (may be a Bachelor’s supervisor/direct supervisor with minimum Master’s qualifications)
- Photocopies of S1 diplomas and grade transcripts that have been legalized, 2 pieces each
- Letter of statement of ability to complete studies (stamped)
- Permit letter from work agency (for those who are already working)
- Projection/general description of the thesis research that will be taken
- Photocopy of TOEFL for the last 2 years
- Health certificate from Government Hospital
- Study guarantee certificate (stamped)
- Colored photographs measuring 3 x 3 (3 sheets), 3 x 4 (3 sheets), 4 x 6 (3 sheets)
